Today's Takeaways:
Interrupt Hunger’s Mission: Focus on preventing chronic disease, feeding the hungry, and fostering community.
Community Collaboration is Key: Change starts by working together—teaching essential skills like cooking, gardening, and movement while giving back.
A Look at the Past vs. Today: Several generations ago, nearly 40% of produce came from home gardens. Today, ultra-processed foods and additives have changed the nutritional landscape.
Modern Health Challenges: 8 out of 10 leading causes of death are linked to poor nutrition. Approximately 73% of Americans struggle with obesity, 12% face food insecurity, and 30% experience social isolation.
Empowering Through Education: Teaching practical skills, such as gardening, empowers people to provide nutritious food for themselves and their families.
Building Sustainable Community Programs: Successful change involves partnering with schools, local governments, and community organizations (e.g., school and employee gardens).
Bill says, “We're hungry to be healthy” and “Get addicted to helping others.” This best encapsulates the call for a community-driven approach to health and wellness.

Today's Takeaways
In today's compelling episode, we explored the journey of resilience, reinvention, and authentic leadership. Here are the key insights that emerged from our conversation:
Embracing Reinvention and Drive Success often stems from our willingness to adapt and evolve. Our guest demonstrated how maintaining consistent motivation while being open to reinvention can create powerful opportunities for growth.
The Power of Inner Questioning When facing resistance, three critical questions can guide our path forward: Are we forcing something unnecessarily? Do we truly want it? What's our genuine objective? This introspective approach helps align our actions with our authentic desires and goals.
Understanding Our Collective Baggage Everyone carries their own set of experiences, assumptions, and past influences - what our guest calls "baggage" in her upcoming book. Recognizing how these elements shape our interactions and work can lead to more empathetic and effective relationships.
Blueprint for Business Success Successful business outcomes hinge on establishing strong foundations: aligning stakeholder vision, securing meaningful commitment from project owners, and maintaining transparent operations. By investing in comprehensive groundwork upfront, organizations can enhance efficiency, optimize resources, and achieve superior results through clear understanding and shared purpose.
Navigating Rock Bottom When facing our lowest moments, the path forward lies in:
Focusing on immediate, actionable steps
Having the courage to seek help and show vulnerability
Maintaining forward momentum, even with small steps
Characteristics that contribute to her success include a willingness to reinvent herself, a constant driven &  motivated person.
When you sense resistance - when something is just not working out, pay attention to it and go inside yourself to ask three important questions: Am I forcing something that maybe I shouldn’t be? Do I really want it?  What is my objective?
The struggles in life are present for every person but can lead to inner strength through conviction, determination and resilience.
Her book “The Truth About Baggage” yet to be completed talks about how we all bring baggage to interactions, work we do, the way we live our lives and the importance in recognizing this as we interact with each other.
In business, to avoid disconnect, laying the groundwork before starting on any project will improve efficiencies, save money, facilitate better outcomes and ensure understanding among stakeholders. This includes understanding the vision and intent of the project “owners”, sharing a commitment to, and understanding of the scope of work with all stakeholders. A commitment from “owners” of any project to be involved with choices. Commit to open book/transparent work.
Hitting rock bottom happens to most of us…and often more than once. When it happens to move through it is to tap in to the now and asking “what can I do in this moment.”, be willing to ask for help and be vulnerable, get back up, figure it out and start moving forward again.

Today’s Takeaways:
Express Yourself with Confidence Fashion isn't about blindly following trends – it's about finding your authentic style. Choose clothes and colors that boost your confidence and reflect your personality. As Nathalie emphasized, when you feel comfortable in what you wear, it shows in how you carry yourself.
Blaze Your Own Trail When venturing into uncharted territory, be discerning about whose advice you take. Traditional wisdom may not apply when you're breaking new ground. Nathalie reminded us that true innovation requires the courage to trust your vision and create your own path, even when there's no roadmap to follow.
Personalization: A Path to Sustainable Business The shift from mass production to personalization represents the future of commerce. This evolving approach exemplifies how customizing products to individual needs not only provides better service but also promotes sustainability. By creating products specifically for each customer, industries can significantly reduce waste from unsold inventory, excess production, and unused or ill-suited items. This transformative model connects regional producers with global markets, reducing carbon emissions from shipping and unnecessary packaging while ensuring each product serves its intended purpose.
The Power of Cultural Heritage Our cultural roots play a significant role in shaping our professional aspirations and choices. Nathalie's insights revealed how the values, traditions, and experiences from our own cultural background can become powerful drivers of our career paths and future endeavors.
Technology's Transformative Power The convergence of industry and technology is reshaping our world in ways we never anticipated. Through Nathalie's perspective, we saw how this intersection is creating new opportunities and challenging traditional business models.

Be Uniquely You understand your personal operating manual. Success isn't about following others' formulas, but about recognizing and honoring your unique rhythms, triggers, and sources of strength.
Trust Your Timing Rather than rushing into decisions with a "just do it" mentality, consider a more intentional approach moving forward when you have both emotional alignment and a clear vision of success.
Cross-Pollinate Your Experience Sometimes our seemingly unrelated experiences create unexpected competitive edges.
Root Innovation in Heritage Cultural heritage can spark innovation.
Master Your Domain Don’t underestimate the importance of knowing enough to ask meaningful questions and challenge assumptions when necessary. A balance of humility and expertise.
Define Your Peace Personally define what peace means to you. Let this be the cornerstone of both personal wellness and business decisions.
Turn potential barriers into catalysts for innovation. Entrepreneurship isn't about having a perfect journey, but about transforming our experiences into value for others while staying true to our authentic selves.

Today's Takeaways
The path to success isn't just about reaching the destination – it's about the strength we build along the way.
Life's greatest lessons often come wrapped in challenges. By tackling difficult tasks head-on, we discover reservoirs of strength we never knew we possessed. Remember, you don't need to be everyone's complete solution; sometimes being one piece of someone's puzzle is equally valuable.
When faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles, flip the script. Instead of asking "Why me?" challenge yourself with "Why not me?" This mindset shift opens doors to unexpected opportunities and connections. Stay curious and remain teachable – everyone we meet carries lessons worth learning.
Your physical well-being intertwines deeply with your mental state. That runner's high isn't just folklore; it's your body's way of rewarding perseverance.
For those navigating learning disabilities, take heart. What feels like a limitation today could become your secret weapon tomorrow. The grit and determination required to overcome challenges builds invaluable skills that will serve you well in any endeavor.
Entrepreneurs can learn volumes from endurance athletes. Both pursuits demand unwavering persistence, resilience in the face of setbacks, and the wisdom to pace yourself for the long haul. Success in business, like success in endurance sports, isn't about sprinting – it's about staying power.
Most importantly, be your own biggest supporter focusing on future possibilities. Get excited about your potential. And through it all, remember the simplest yet most powerful tool at your disposal: your breath. Take a moment, breathe deeply, and remind yourself that you're capable of extraordinary things.
Trust in your journey. Every step forward is progress worth celebrating. Keep pushing boundaries, stay open to growth, and watch your productive passions transform into powerful purpose.
Breathe!

Today’s Takeaways:
Understanding NPD goes beyond casual labels. It's a complex personality disorder characterized by grandiose behavior, an insatiable need for admiration, and a profound lack of empathy. Recognizing these patterns is your first step toward protection and healing.
Remember the five stages of narcissistic relationships: love bombing, devaluation, discarding, hoovering, and recovery. Each stage has its unique challenges, but awareness is your shield. When you can name what's happening, you reclaim your power.
If you're dealing with a narcissist, embrace the "grey rock" method. As Calvin Coolidge wisely noted, "Silence can never be misquoted." Sometimes, being boring is your best defense.
In professional settings, protect yourself by establishing clear boundaries and maintaining detailed documentation of your interactions. Trust your instincts, but verify with evidence.
Most importantly, you don't have to navigate this journey alone. Consider working with a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in narcissistic abuse recovery. They can provide the tools and support you need to heal and thrive.
Remember, recognizing these patterns isn't just about understanding them – it's about breaking free and reclaiming your story. Until next time, keep turning your pain into purpose.

Today’s Takeaways:
Success in entrepreneurship starts from within. Make "showing up for yourself" a non-negotiable part of your routine. Whether it's through journaling, meditation, or quiet reflection, these moments of stillness aren't just breaks – they're where your best strategic thinking and creative breakthroughs happen.
Your inner compass is more reliable than you think. That gut feeling telling you there's a better way to serve your market? Listen to it. The most successful entrepreneurs combine intuition with research to spot opportunities others miss.
Knowledge truly is power, but not in the way most think. The secret isn't knowing everything – it's being humble enough to learn from those who've walked the path before you. Speaking of which, DeVonne specifically recommends diving into "Ego is the Enemy" by Ryan Holiday as a powerful reminder to stay grounded while pursuing ambitious goals.
When evaluating business opportunities, look for gaps in accessibility. The most successful ventures often start by asking "Who's being left out?" rather than "What's the next big thing?" Your unique perspective might spot an underserved market that others have overlooked.
Build your support system intentionally. Seek out mentors who've navigated similar challenges in your industry. Their experience can help you avoid common pitfalls and provide crucial perspective when you're too close to see the forest for the trees.
Remember, consistency trumps intensity. There will be days when motivation runs low and doubts run high. That's precisely when your practice of showing up for yourself – through reflection, learning, and connecting with mentors – becomes your anchor for moving forward.

Today’s Takeaways
Reimagine Your Spaces Start bringing nature indoors. Look at your home, office, or workspace and ask: How can I incorporate natural elements? Add plants, maximize natural light, use natural materials, and create visual connections to the outdoors. Even small changes can dramatically improve your mood and productivity.
Think Long-Term in Sustainability When making business or personal investments, look beyond immediate returns. Research companies and practices that prioritize sustainability. Consider how green strategies can create value over time, even if the benefits aren't instantly visible. Sustainability is an investment in our collective future.
Shift from Problem-Spotting to Solution-Creating Stop dwelling on challenges. Every time you identify a problem, challenge yourself to propose at least one practical solution. Practice being a solution-oriented thinker. Instead of complaining about environmental issues, ask: "What can I do right now to make a positive difference?"
Understand the Role of Systemic Change Educate yourself about how regulations can drive meaningful environmental progress. Support policies that encourage sustainable practices. Engage with local and national policy discussions, and vote for leaders who prioritize environmental innovation.
Become a Knowledge Sharer Turn learning into action. When you discover something valuable about sustainability, share it. Start conversations, create content, teach others. Knowledge becomes powerful when it's distributed and applied collectively.
Adopt a Holistic Design Mindset Look at challenges through a comprehensive lens. Whether you're redesigning a room, developing a product, or solving a work problem, consider environmental impact, human experience, and innovative technologies simultaneously.
Create Urgency in Your Approach Don't wait for "someday." Make sustainable choices now. Whether it's reducing waste, choosing eco-friendly products, or supporting green businesses, your immediate actions matter. Procrastination is the enemy of progress.
Embrace Collaborative Consumption Explore sharing economy models. Consider shared workspaces, tool libraries, car-sharing services, and collaborative consumption platforms. These approaches reduce individual resource consumption and create more efficient, connected communities.
Bonus Tip: Lead by Example Remember, meaningful change starts with individual action. You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to be intentional. Each small step creates ripples of positive transformation.

1) Expect the unexpected.2) Have confidence that your passion will be successful, especially if you know there is a better way than what’s being done now.3) Conduct an annual review of self. Take this as seriously as your professional annual review.4) The importance of having an “outside” confidant/advisor5) Why not now?6) Constant evolution7) For a company, success comes down to people and culture and starts at the top.
